Male waxing is so popular nowadays with more and more Men choosing to wax over any other hair removal method. There are many reasons men, both straight & gay, choose to wax their bits. Some men have partners who prefer it, others like it to feel clean. Many men who are into fitness need these areas cleaned up for hygiene and safety reasons. I have male clients from all walks of life each having their own reasons for using wax treatments.
Unfortunately removing your hair from its follicles isn’t going to be an utterly comfortable experience, however, the process is minorly painful! There are also different reasons which may make it slightly more uncomfortable, if you are stressed, overly tired or not feeling well. My techniques and high-quality training with the best in the Industry will ensure it’s as painless and as quick as can be. I recommend popping a couple of paracetamol 30mins before your appointment.
Your hair should be NO shorter than a grain of rice! Wax cant pick up your hairs if they are too short.
Regular waxers- you should have a least 4 weeks growth from your last appointment.
Newbies – please allow 3 weeks hair growth from the last time you used removal creams and shaved.
If you’ve never been waxed before and have a holiday coming up, we would recommend coming in 6 weeks before to see how your skin reacts, then if all is okay, reschedule your next appointment 3 days before your holiday.
NO!! That’s what I’m here for. You may run the risk of over trimming which will affect the results of your wax. If it’s too long, don’t worry, i will trim if necessary.
This varies from client to client. Generally, it’s a 4-5 week wax routine however some of my clients can wait for 6-8weeks.
Absolutely NOT! Quite the opposite. Waxing does not cause you to grow more hair follicles. In fact, if you become a regular waxer you will notice that your hair will become quite sparse and not as coarse. When hair is shaved, it is cut off at the thickest part, which is why you get stubble the next day. A properly waxed hair is removed from the root and when the hair starts to grow back it’s a new hair, very fine at the tip, so NO stubble.
The more you wax, the less hair grows back!!!
NO NO NO – Resist the urge to pick up them razors and trimmers!!! Do NOT shave or trim between waxing appointments. It disrupts the hair growth cycle resulting in more hair at your next appointment.
Do NOT panic!! Sometimes it happens, I will work around it and carry on as normal. Erections vanish fairly rapidly once I start pulling of the wax.
(Truth be known I don’t even acknowledge it.)
Almost everyone can get waxed and we can work around most conditions but unfortunately, we cannot wax if you fall under any of these categories
